Since all solar collectors have nearly the same efficiency per m², only the size of the collector-area is important (SO BUY THE CHEAPEST)

## HOW TO CALCULATE THE SURFACE NEEDED?

Multiply the following factors:
 FILL IN 1) Surface of your swimming pool (pond) m² 2) Geographical location: Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, United Kingdom, Denmark (x 1,25) Poland, Norway, Sweden (x 1,7)  Spain, France, Italy, Greece, Turkey, Portugal (x 1) 3) Covered at night (plastic) ja (x 0,5)  neen (x 1) 4) Angle of inclination (of the roofing, collectors) 0° (x 1,15) (horizontal)  35° (x 1)  45° (x 1,1)  90° (x 1,3) 5) Orientation: west or east (x 1,2)  south-west or south-east (x 1,1)  south (x 1) TOTAL SURFACE OF ABSORBERS NEEDED m²
Example: your covered swimming pool of 50 m² is located in Belgium, and the angle of inclination of your roof is 45° orientated south-east: 0.5 x 50 x 1.25 x 1.1 x 1.1 = 38 m² Conclusion: you need 38 m² of collectors to double your swimming season and to increase the temperature of your swimming pool by +/- 6°C.

Also bear in mind the influence of wind, shade, swimming pool distance and installation.
